Such an odd-looking little gargoyle, as I guess they all are – and I’m sure you’ve heard it a thousand times, no apology necessary. How lovely to be catching up with family and visitors.

It is rather lovely to be joined by them out here in Portugal, and of course extra special as we are getting to spend loads of time with our 18 month old granddaughter 🙂

I LOVE gargoyles, Becky, especially after reading a set of YA fantasy fiction books about them. Definitely odd! I’ve been wanting a big sculpture of a griffin (eagle head on lion body) but settled for a 6-foot totem pole I recently purchased! More about that later 😉

Gargoyles are very odd, Becky… some of them make me wonder if they were created for a laugh! But then, I wonder why were they created in the first place?
