I discovered this in my archives. I cannot recall why I took this photograph! Possibly for this challenge, as it was only in November I captured it, but who knows. There are five steps so it fits the theme of ‘odd, and that is all that matters. If you have not yet joined us, we are looking for square photographs whose subject matter is;
- Differing from the usual or not happening often (ie oddballs, the exceptions and follies)
- Separated from its set or mate (eg odds and ends or maybe odd socks or shoes)
- Not divisible exactly by two (ie odd numbers) or the number is unknown (ie 30 odd birds)
Have fun exploring oddness and discovering oddities this month and why not invite some of your blogging friends to join us. Here’s the challenge image to share.
What an interesting looking photo. Hopefully nobody has to climb up there!
This is my first odd square, I am getting into the mood, slowly …

Yes something electrical, but with no antenna or dish I wonder what it’s function is.

Is that a bird box on the top?
Just looked at the telegraph pole outside our house, seems to have more steps, 5 or 6. They seem to use machines to reach the top nowadays.

Still seen a few up a pole near us, so looks like Cornwall is ahead with the machines.
Just looked at it again, and no think it is electrics

Stairway to heaven, Becky? I love its angles against the blue. Another day from Mitchell’s Fold from me:

Well the gap between steps would certainly stretch us all, and I guess we should be stretched en route up there!!

Makes me dizzy looking up.

Glad I don’t have to get up there. not sure my legs could cope with the distance between steps!!
