I discovered this in my archives. I cannot recall why I took this photograph! Possibly for this challenge, as it was only in November I captured it, but who knows. There are five steps so it fits the theme of ‘odd, and that is all that matters. If you have not yet joined us, we are looking for square photographs whose subject matter is;
- Differing from the usual or not happening often (ie oddballs, the exceptions and follies)
- Separated from its set or mate (eg odds and ends or maybe odd socks or shoes)
- Not divisible exactly by two (ie odd numbers) or the number is unknown (ie 30 odd birds)
Have fun exploring oddness and discovering oddities this month and why not invite some of your blogging friends to join us. Here’s the challenge image to share.

You may think I am pushing it too much to fit the topic. But oh well it is already out there, so here goes https://mywanderings.travel.blog/2022/02/04/odd-or-not/

What an interesting view with a lovely blue sky unlike the torrential rain in England this morning. A little bit of humour for my post today. https://lizannelloyd.wordpress.com/2022/02/04/squareodds-4/

Thanks 🙂 but oh dear about your rain. We need the rain here, so maybe we can swap skies today

Clearly steps for people with 3 legs!
And I’m really enjoying that immaculate blue sky

Perhaps you were photographing that bird that just flew away, Becky! 😀
The spacing on the steps on these poles always baffled me…
I haven’t gone odd today: https://wp.me/pVkLb-5Kj

Definitely odd enough to pass muster. Though it might be a vantage point high enough for me to look out for all my lost gloves: https://margaret21.com/2022/02/04/an-odd-glove/

What is the pole meant to be for?

It’s a telegraph pole, elsewhere known as utility poles, stobies and telephone poles.

I thought it might be. It’s a bit different from ours.

There are five steps to oddness and I hope many climb the pole of success to achieve the power which only a square odd can bring 🤪
