This was where it all began back in 2017 with flowers. A distraction from a challenging month and year, and look what has happened Squares is now a world wide phenomena!

Now remember you don’t have to share daily, your squares can appear once a week or just once. It is totally up to you. As is the content of your squares. Here’s a reminder of what your October Square(s) could cover;
- Re-post a previous square post which at the time didn’t get the attention it deserved
- Share one or more leftover squares from a previous theme that you loved
- Share a new photograph that would have been perfect for a previous theme
- Or if you have not been squaring for very long why not pick a theme you missed and share thirty one squares of that theme
- Alternatively have fun with the word ‘past’ by sharing squares of history and heritage, and that includes past holidays!
The tag is PastSquares but the only thing you really need to remember is that in October your images must be square – that’s four equal sides!
What a beauty to choose, Becky. Such strong contrast, but gentle blooms.

That looks like Snowwhite’s flower – white as snow, red as black and the leaves almost black. I never participated in the flower squares so I’m making up with my current series: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/10/17/tulip-past-its-prime/

I’m the same. Your posts come up mid afternoon for me and it gives me plenty of time to link to the current post and publish on the correct day. Having said that, I’ve scheduled the next few posts and linked them to this post because I’ll be away with not much phone reception.
This plant is beautiful. Do you know what it is?

I believe it is Bleeding Heart Vine or Glory Bower or Clerodendron thomsoniae. Well that’s what I said on the original post! So beautiful.

Beautiful flowers, Becky. I did want to say that I love when you post at this time because that means I can put a link/pingback in my post before going to bed and not miss out on all the viewing time by all of you overseas. 🙂 Enjoy your Sunday.
