It is Monday and so must be time for a Monday Portrait, and I thought of this one which first appeared in April of last year. Can you recall what the Square theme was then?

If you have yet to become a member of the Squares Community, or have not Squared for a while – join us this month. There are multiple ways to Square in October including;
- Sharing on this day moments from previous posts as well as favourite squares and leftover squares from a previous theme
- Re-posting previous square posts which didn’t get much attention when they first appeared
- Having fun with the word ‘past’ by sharing squares of history and heritage, and that includes past holidays!
- Taking brand new photographs that would have been perfect for a previous theme
- Or if you have only recently discovered squares why not delight us with themes you missed. I have listed all previous themes in this square

I would have guessed top. 😀 😀
Here is my entry for “time” from the past today.

What a handsome fella, Becky! I’ve been happy to see goats every day in our new neighborhood, such friendly critters! I’m guessing spiky, LOL!

Oooh yes spiky would work – it was top 😊

I forgot the goat, too, but these days my memory is something of a lucky dip! Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2021/10/11/tandem-skydivers/

Such a sweet goat. Just been to the original post and am wondering how Londoners feel about being thought goat-minded, though am definitely feeling that way myself. And now I’m revealing yesterday’s mystery. You did such good guessing, Becky, but here it is:

He is a splendid chap, but why is he there? And I agree with Debbie, he should be painted, bright orange would be good 🧡🧡

ooh yes a orange version would be fabulous 🙂
The reason is a bit weird, I mentioned it in my original post but in the words of the artist “Goats are associated with non-conformity and being independently-minded. That is also true of London, its people and never more so than in Spitalfields”

I don’t remember the goat despite having done a month of Top posts. My day 11 post is going back to Bright Squares Month:

Glad I got to see him this time around 😃 Last April was crazy with the lockdown & the massive increase in my work hours; I think I only managed one post for Square Tops 😩 I’ve joined my Fan Of… with PastSquares this week 😃 https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2021/10/11/changing-moods-of-fannyside-lochs-fan-of-129-and-pastsquares/
