It has been another wonderful Squares month, thank you all so much for squaring with me. If you have not had a chance to join in the fun of the squares challenge, why not join us today on this final day. Everyone is always welcome, which is why this is actually a sunrise rather than sunset! I like to think today is a new beginning of Squares yet to be shared. If you can’t join us today, then no worries Squares will be back in October! I am going to take a break for a few weeks now, but will be back with a couple of tree galleries in August and have already scheduled some Monday Portraits and Wordless posts to keep you going until those galleries appear.

  1. Hi Becky B. Thanks for hosting this wonderful challenge. The sunset was such a fitting way to end it. My post today was one of the first ones that I wrote, and I forgot to check it last night before I went to bed. It needed updating before I published it. One of the hazards of scheduling.

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and all the wonderful outside-the-box thinking that everyone put into it. I particularly loved the yarn bombs, the portraits, shadows, and I think my favorite was the shoe tree. I did not visit as many people as I wanted, but that’s my goal for the next month.

One of the amazing things about your challenge, Becky B is how many other challengers build their challenge on yours. I’ve been blogging for over nine years, and I think that the online and offline collaboration between bloggers is one of the major changes in blogging since that time. It is lovely and fun. I hope the rest of your summer is fun and somewhat restful without getting dull what with no squares! 🙂

    1. I so so agree with you Marsha, the online and offline collaboration is what makes blogging such a wonderful experience. It is such a big part of my life, and I know I am so much richer for it. One of these days I will have to put my head around the screen when you and Cee catch up together!!

  2. I really have no idea how you keep up with all the posts! You definitely need some down time. Did you watch the Packham walk along the Itchen the other night? I was wondering if you had done that walk, seems like the sort you would enjoy with all the nature. You and Mr B with your binoculars.
