Monday Portraits began in May after the last squares as a way for me to keep the blog going whilst I took a break. Cee and Margaret encouraged me to keep it going through June, and amazingly it is still going today! Well I didn’t want this fellow to miss out from being part of Squares. I have even managed to include a real tree in the background to accompany this papier-mâché masterpiece. Perfect I thought for our final Monday of #TreeSquare. Do hope you have been having as much fun as I have this month.
If you have not yet had a chance to take part, you have until Saturday to submit your #TreeSquare. The only absolute rule for joining in with Squares is that your photograph must be square in shape! Although I’d love it if you also left a comment on my post, conversations make the challenge so much fun.
I’ve given up on finding the latest post for this. It’ll probably show up tomorrow, but i do all my writing the day before, so if I find tomorrow’s I can use it for Saturday. I can’t believe this month is over! it feels like it hasn’t really started yet.

I was just thinking the same about the month

Wonderful find. Brings back memories of a time when making papier-mache was fashionable. Messy but you had to do it!

This artistic tree and bird is adorable and perfect for Public Art, too, if you want to link it. Too cute. I’m linking my PPAC post for this week to #TreeSquares. Some of the pictures are not square, but I hope you enjoy both the square and the unsquare. 🙂

I totally love your carved woodpecker. I first thought it really WAS a woodpecker, but my eyes aren’t like they used to be. Sometimes, real woodpeckers don’t look real either 😀

To be honest, I thought the tree was real.
