Where is July going? I am sure it was only the day before yesterday that #TreeSquare commenced! I wonder how many different trees we have seen so far this month. This acer began life in a pot on our patio, but a few years ago we thought we’d release it. It is thriving despite our chalky soil, probably because I regularly feed it.
By the way it isn’t too late to join in the fun of #TreeSquare. To join us create your square post and include a pingback to any of my daily square posts. The theme as you have probably gather is trees, but the only absolute rule for joining in with Squares is that your photograph must be square in shape!
i can hardly believe that July is ending! It has been raining so much, we’ve hardly done anything at all. Supposedly it’s going to dry a bit now, but I don’t think they know. I have seen such magical trees this month. What a great month of squares!

I am learning so much about trees. I never knew that Maples are Acers, and now I do 🌳

Yes really interesting how we use words differently to describe plants and trees. We do use maple but mostly acer

Sun through leaves is always a winner, Becky. I can’t believe how quickly the month is coming to an end! What will you do with all your free time. 🙂

Ah, well, enjoy that. We’re off to Wyoming the first two weeks and between vacation to enjoy and lack of internet, I’m likely not posting or only doing a few in advance.

Gorgeous sun! Great shot. What brings a dead tree to life? Ducks in a row! https://fakeflamenco.com/2021/07/22/duck-or-duck-tape-prom/

Lovely colours… were it not that I can see you around here and there leaving comments, I might have fared you’d been captured after taking a shot of an alien spacecraft coming in to land. Or could it be that they have good wifi?
