You may recall from the #TreeSquare announcement back in June that I mentioned I could have a different tree in my garden for every day of this month’s Squares challenge. A couple of garden trees have already appeared but today I thought I share a collection. These are not every tree as we really do have over 30, but hopefully they will give you a flavour of the forest I have out there! More garden trees will follow tomorrow.

If you happened to click on the galleries you will have seen from the titles that many of the trees have been allowed to grow after self seeding. Some of the self seeds have been unexpected such as the oak. The walnut is from Mum, another self seed which I hope in 15 ish years will be bearing fruit!

Your garden looks amazing, Becky, and about 300 times the size of mine.

It is a big space although not even half the size of my Mum’s garden! We like gardens and are fortunate enough to be able to have places with them

I’m not jealous, but . . . I do wish I had more space for more plants.

Hee hee but you also need the time! I don’t spend enough in mine hence the jungle. Mum however spends loads of time in her’s and so it always look beautiful and managed!!

You must have an enormous garden as well as a beautiful one! What a blessings and a joy! I enjoy photos of these types of gardens even more now that we live where there aren’t any like this. They seem so lush.

we are very fortunate. I wouldn’t call it enormous though as my sister and Mum have much bigger gardens! It is large though for a city 🙂 and as you say lush!!

You should have a walk way on top. Just think of the view you’d have. 😀 😀
Here is my entry for the day.

My favourite is the contorted willow, but you have a wonderful collection, both planned and accidental. Here’s mine for today: https://susanrushton.net/2021/07/21/two-from-the-fairchild-tropical-botanic-garden/

I love the willow too. Have taken some cuttings and so will have a few spares ready for when we move and probably a few other people, looking at how well they have taken!
