Be content with your natural beauty
Drink plenty of water
Let your limbs sway and dance in the breezes
Be flexible
Remember your roots
Enjoy the view!
Guess it is not surprising how many tree quotes and poems there are. Trees are so good for the soul, they all happen to be essential to the air we breathe. We need more trees, so if you can why not sow a seed this year. You may not sit under its shade, but future generations will be grateful to you and nature will be delighted.

If you have a moment today why not share your first (or second) #TreeSquare! July has been a delight so far thanks to all of the trees shared, and there are so many ways in which to share;
- Trees can be centre square or hidden in the background
- You could focus on one tree and share a different part of the same tree or its shadow each day
- Or if you have lots of tree photographs why not create a collage of tree squares, sorted by species or number
- Yes, it is totally up to you how you share your trees. In fact you don’t even need to share real trees!
The only absolute rule for joining in with Squares is that your photograph must be square in shape! Although I’d love it if you also left a comment on my post, conversations make the challenge so much fun.
PS If you want to read all of the Advice from a Tree by Ilan Shamir visit here.
You can depend on a tree for good advice. My tree today may be more temporary than yours: https://margaret21.com/2021/07/20/a-history-of-a-holiday-in-fifteen-trees-five/

Yes 300 acres really not possible in a day! Maybe we should all stay over there for two nights, that was can take time and have rests inbetween!

I recognised that Kew vista even in the small Reader photo. 🙂 In keeping with the botanic garden theme, here’s a tree from the Sydney gardens.

Two more square superstars. I haven’t read enough or paid attention to see if they have done the same quote
