Thought I’d use one of the suggestions from my original theme list, and look at a tree in more detail. I have selected the cercis siliquastrum, widely known in the English speaking world as the Judas Tree. You can find more photographs of it here in one of my Portuguese posts.

i found your post. At least I found today’s post. It was there, just slipped in between two other posts.
Your tree is beautiful. Mine are just very, very green. We are up to 11 inches of rain for this month. That’s four months of rain in three weeks. Our world is seriously GREEN.

It would probably happily grow in your neck of the woods.

I agree. Might have to do some investigations 😊

Sounds like a good plan, and you can always tell your hubby it was my fault if you do get one!!!

I would never do that – but, if I can get one, I’d have to keep it in a pot.

apparently they can be managed as bonsai, so pots sounds a cunning plan

Odd thing isn’t it? I almost included one in my ‘unusual trees’ theme, but didn’t. Nice to see one feature though. My next bunch will be up tomorrow.
