It’s Friday which means that it is time for Cee’s and Marsha’s Photographing Public Art Challenge. This week I think it is Cee’s turn to explore art in public places, and I thought this sculpture with tree in Olhão would be perfect for both #TreeSquare and #PPAC. It is part of a public sculpture trail in the back streets of Olhao, and many of you may recall the unusual tale behind it from Blue Squares. Ooh blue, if it worked for blue squares maybe Jude will like it for her month of blue.

  1. Are those figures lit up at night, Becky? They’d look quite sinister if they weren’t. Mind you, they’d probably look just as sinister at night if they were! 😀 Here’s my (slightly late) square for today. I’ve gone a bit arty too!

      1. In the ‘darkened hours’, I find all sorts of things sinister looking. A child’s swing in a garden spooked me once, as I saw a hooded figure leaning on the fence! The swing wasn’t even near the fence when I hurriedly walked by!
At least these figures are lit up, so if I was ever in their vicinity, I’ll be prepared! 🙂
