I know I have used the title before in this challenge, but it is the very first time I have used a title twice. I thought this title is even more perfect for this square than the last time I used it. This is a Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) and they are such a graceful and elegant bird, well at least when they are when on the water maybe not so much at take off or when on land!

Only a few days left of Squares, where has the month gone? I am looking forward to catching up with all the comments and pingbacks on my return home. I have tried to stay on top of them whilst I was away as I love squares and talking to you so much. However I am sure I have missed one or two, and of course there are all of today’s too, which is also another way of me saying there’s still plenty of time this week to join us!
So if you have not already squared or have only squared once or twice this month, why not join us today. All that I ask is that your image has 4 equal sides, and that it reflects the theme of bright. Together, with the tag BrightSquare, we can support each other and shine bright;
sparkling, polished, shining, clever, cheerful, colourful, astute, brilliant, sunny, glorious, translucent, distinct and clear
Very elegantly bright, Becky. I’ll see if I can conjure up a bright square in the next day or two…

Definitely bright and beautiful!
And I think I’ve repeated titles this month, too.
I’ve gone day and night today: https://wp.me/p35cNK-q1F

Thanks Debbie, and nothing wrong with the repeated title. Usually I do, just this month I managed until today to have a new one each time

Such beautiful creatures, aren’t they? Glad you’re ‘refreshed’ and good to go 🙂 🙂

Was refreshed this morning – but then had to pack and unpack the car. We had so much stuff for so few days – although the stuff included cat, plants and lots of left overs!!

After lunch so I have time to tidy the house, make beds, clean bathroom, wash up, mow lawns, weed the garden, fix a chair and maybe squeeze in a Bright Square post 😀 😀

A wonderful start to the day – we’re off bright and early to a birding day at Ripon Wetlands … and it’s not going to be bright, unless the raindrops sparkle a lot!

I hope it’s a good day. Margaret, even without weather compliance

Rain?! I am so envious. We need rain! Hope you are having a marvellous time in all the rain drops surrounded by the birds

Haha! We had a brilliant morning – avocets, reed buntings, common terns, but not one drop of rain though it had been virtually promised. It’s (sort of) raining now though.

oh sounds absolutely marvellous 🙂 our kind of birding morning. If you could send those raindrops our way though, hopefully by the time they get down here it will be raining

We saw hundreds of mute swans at the Swannery at Abbotsbury. It was an unforgettable sight.

It is such an amazing place there isn’t it – very long time since I was there

We were there in 2016. It seems a lifetime ago now.

I think you’re right, although more so for some than others. We’re off on a road trip and nothing much is different here except for social distancing, hand sanitiser all the time and checking in with the contact tracing app everywhere. We’re all very cautious.

You are so fortunate. Our vaccination programme might be amazing but we really haven’t got a handle on anything else

Our vaccination program is slow but we’re not in dire straits either. Let’s hope it stays that way. I hope things improve for all of you soon.

thanks, and yes hope it does stay that way for you all

Beuatiful capture of loveliness. They can be fierce though when protecting their nest or young ones.

oh you are so right about them being fierce. I would never want to argue with one!
