It is quite a few years now that we were last in Birmingham enjoying a stroll in the early evening light. If you are up for a walk today why not revisit it with me, or maybe you would prefer to explore the museum where Wednesday’s buttons were found.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in Squares already, I am looking forward to sharing with you the first gallery of the challenge later today. Together, with the tag BrightSquare, we are supporting each other to be;
sparkling, polished, shining, clever, cheerful, colourful, astute, brilliant, sunny, glorious, translucent, distinct and clear
That gorgeous light as the sun goes down – a lovely photo, Becky. And some happy memories too.

The city centre is a great place to wander on a nice day, with its new library and its historic buildings. Will hopefully do that again soon 🙂

I’ve yet to make it to the library garden, next time hopefully!

I can probably manage cheerful but not sure about the rest of your list 🙂 🙂 You’ve disappeared from my Reader so I’ll have to keep a lookout for later. Sounds like you’ve had a busy week, hon. Take care!

She’d do the same for me. She has a cleaner starting work for her today so she’s hiding in the bedroom with tea and cereal 🙂 🙂 Lucky me- I have my first Portuguese lesson in ages. Doom and gloom!

This is such lovely evening light 🌞 Was/is this twilight? We don’t get twilight here because we are too close to the equator.

The light on the old buildings — reminded me of Florence, Italy!

It is not the first on everyone’s place to visit, but actually it has quite a lot going for it. Do visit my links to see more 🙂

I WILL visit your links, thank you! (P.S. Every time I see ‘Birmingham’ I have to remind myself this is not Birmingham, Alabama!)

I have given you a sunrise. I think we’ll have a beautiful sunrise tomorrow, too, but I’m planning to sleep through it. I’m just not young enough to be out there in the early morning getting munched on by the cruelest mosquitoes on planet earth.
The light of the sun on that building is perfection. I have one with light almost that same color on buildings along the shore from this same morning in Rockport. Maybe I’ll post them next, though it will be sunrise. I never seem to be in the right place to get sunset. is it because we are on the east coast?

Sunrises are my favourite time of the day Marilyn, and so delighted to have a sunrise from you
and interesting thought about east versus west coast. You may be right!

I know that if you are on the ocean, you only get the reflection of sunset, But I suppose it depends on the lay of the land. I love sunrises too but I’m up late writing — like now — and I can’t do those 5 hour nights anymore. I actually need to sleep.
