I’ve been wanting to share a support for a few days now to celebrate how fabulous and brilliant you all are. Squares is great because of you, and I’m so appreciative of your support. So a huge thank you. And here’s my post in celebrating support – a wing strut brace high above the mountains on New Zealand’s South Island.

I almost cannot believe that today is the penultimate day of 2021’s January Squares. It has been a challenging month at times, but the squares, I hope, has offered optimism, joy and a sense of community. I am going to miss it. However we will be back in April and we still have more than 24 hours left of this month, so still plenty of time to share a square or two interpreting this month’s theme of UP.

        1. Feels like only yesterday, or maybe 5years ago I was there! And we should definitely bring Jude with us – I have suggested she joins us at 4pm. Maybe you could persuade her to do that and then next stop NZ!

        2. Ah! A beanie! Never heard of a dut. No gardening, I am not a masochist – can barely see the garden today! There are some bulbs in flower though – 8 snowdrops now!

        3. Aww! The neighbour just bequeathed me some nasty sturiums. Not fussed but gift horse and all that 😍 I want to play with my shells but it’s a bit warm at the moment 🤣💕

      1. I was going to ask you the same question. Been 6 years since my brief visit, don’t know if I’ll ever make it back. But it’s a beautiful country.

  2. Beautiful photos! I’ll look through my photos to see if I’ve got something to represent the theme up, so I can join before the end of the month! ❤️ Diana
