Every Squares I find I sit down more than I should, but this challenge I seem to be sitting even more. I think it is because of the lock-down and cold weather. I really though need to be standing up more this month, not that is much of January left. It is our final Monday of January squares. Where on earth has the month gone? It began so slowly, but suddenly over the past few days it seems to have sped up. I am hoping that is a good thing. I also hope you have been enjoying this month’s challenge as much as I have. There have been so many different interpretations of the theme, it has been amazing.

In case anyone wasn’t aware the theme for January Squares is up, and there is still time to join us in looking up and finding hidden ups.

I have been posting daily this month, and it would be so uplifting if you can too for the final few days of the month. However don’t worry if daily posts are not for you, with this challenge you can post anytime before or on 31st January. The only absolute rule is that your main photograph must be SQUARE, and remember a square has 4 equal sides.

Huge thank you to everyone who has already left a comment and/or pingbacks on my square posts, and thank you also for finding the time to visit at least one other squarer. Together, with the tag SquareUp, we can stand up and be united in 2021.

  1. It’s weird but I didn’t see your post in my Reader. However, I persevered and here I am. 🙂 Of course I like the bird shot and I agree that the month has flown by. Am I interpreting this correctly, that the challenge ends at the end of this month and then you don’t have another until April? I just saw the detailed instructions while searching for this post and I wasn’t sure about that part. But at any rate, without further ado, I hope your day’s gone well and here’s my entry:

    1. ooh you are the third person who has said that today. Really don’t understand why i didn’t appear – I did make some last minute changes via the app so perhaps that was it. If I don’t appear again tomorrow can you let me know and I will follow up with the engineers – thank you

    2. and yes you have interpreted correctly. Whilst i would love to run this every month I just don’t have the time, so I run it x4 per year – one month every quarter. The next month is indeed April, and i will announce the theme in March

        1. I struggle to keep up with all the blogs I follow and some bloggers post 2-4 times a day. I admit that I often don’t visit every post because I always try to comment as well as visit and it just gets to consume too much time. 🙂 I end up double posting on the weekend often because I like to do the Lens-Artists Challenge but won’t give up Debbie’s Six Word Saturday and One Word Sunday.

        2. Oh I know exactly what you mean.

And you’re fabulous doing the ones you do, sometimes in non square months I can not check for days!

        3. Sometimes life has to take first place. 🙂 I’m sure you enjoy your time off on the non-square months, even if there are still many blogs to visit. I admit to sometimes just skipping over some just to get caught up. I used to blog on vacation, sort of live update things, but decided to quit that and just announce that I won’t be visiting anyone’s blogs or posting for a time. It’s so much nicer that way.

  2. Have you changed something to your settings? I just realised I am not getting your posts in my feed anymore and your site wants me to follow it (which I have done for ages). And now it wants my e-mail address. I hope it works because I’ve lost a couple of feeds that way a few months back …

    1. I haven’t done anything but David says he is having the same problem today. It is really odd, not sure why but am wondering if it is the WP gremlins?
