Still trying to take in some of yesterday’s news, there were moments of joy but then . . . . . the UK Covid19 figures were released and things began to unfold in DC. I don’t know what to say or think, it is all so shocking. So I need to dig deep today to remain upbeat, and to assist me I thought I would swap around some of my scheduled posts and share this one which evokes some very happy memories. Around two weeks ago I was chatting to Debbie, Sue, Margaret and Ann-Christine when Debbie mentioned the moon. It was looking rather bright above St Albans. I looked up out of the study window, and spotted it was looking rather lovely above Winchester too.

We may all be in different places but we are all connected, and my love, thoughts and optimism are with everyone as we all try and live our lives at the moment. If you can take some time away from the pandemic and political challenges, come here and chat with the fabulous #Squares community. I’ll try and get a gallery done for tomorrow, or maybe even a bonus later today. Together, by connecting with the tag SquareUp we can be upbeat. Here is my word cloud to get you all thinking.

A beautiful, uplifting moon. We need it!

What happened last year and what is happening in the first ten days of this new year are certainly way beyond once over the blue moon.
But many thanks to you and many other amazing people on the WordPress community, this world of ours is still a charming place 🙂

How wonderful to see that is was hovering over you too, Becky. Our regular calls have been a positive treat through the repeated lockdowns and ongoing restrictions. We might moan a bit 🙂 but we do share lost of positivity too. And oh we are being challenged! x

The stars have been fabulous these last few nights – I lay in my bed staring at them before I go to sleep. Of course that means that it is very cold too! And we even had a hard frost here this morning.

ooh how fabulous do you have a sky light?
Yikes though about the hard frost, you are not meant to get those where you are!

Yes, Velux windows throughout, only 4 normal casement windows.

I’d love to have skylights but MrB is not keen

Not easy to clean. But they do let lots of light in.

Three cheers, Becky, for all your heartfelt up-ness. Turning our gaze to the natural world, to things of true beauty, is healing and grounding. No manipulation there. They simply are.

I know, and the fact some politicians are still debating the verification of votes. So much hard work is going to be needed to heal and improve
