In our house and across much of Europe tomorrow is Twelfth Night which means cupid along with the Christmas Trees will be returning to the attic. For some of you however tonight is Twelfth Night so I thought I would share cupid today, plus hopefully Cupid will make anyone under lockdown smile. A reminder we are not in this alone folks!

How are you getting on with this month’s squares theme of up? Do hope it is helping to distract and inspire. I am so impressed that already we been upside down and seen puppies, puppets, cupolas and cuppas. We have even had stirrups and Tupperware, and then there have been all the clever clever titles. Remember though whilst it is totally up to you how you interpret it the theme, your main photograph must be SQUARE in shape!

        1. That’s one word for the absolute chaos our PM and his cronies are creating. I have so many friends in the teaching and health professions and they are all in despair. Not sure how more they can all take 😦

        2. Our PM is trying be be the wrecker but the State (non his party) Premiers are doing their best and getting results. If a place needs lockdown, just do it

      1. But Boris listens to his business cronies rather than the scientists. Although a lot of his business cronies are making billions out of each fiasco. It makes me weep. A jeweller getting a contract to make PPE?

        1. Don’t get me started – I am so so cross. Too many friends really struggling at the moment because they are parents, teachers and/or health/social care workers. It is all so wrong

        2. Teachers and all staff in schools, supermarket workers, delivery drivers should be a priority for the vaccine. Before me I believe. I can stay home, but these people need to work.

        3. I understand the need to protect the elderly as they are more likely to get seriously ill, but 60 – 75 year old could shield, if not working, until priority workers are done.

        4. Possibly, although seeing the impact on elderly of shielding long term I am beginning to wonder how much longer they can take. We just need a robust delivery programme for the vaccination, and one that is managed by those who have done similar things before – rather than a Government appointed Czar

  1. Cute little Cupid. In Sweden we usually don´t end Christmas until after 20 days has passed , on the 13th of January, so our tree with all its decorations will be up a bit longer.
