It is day two of January Squares, and whilst most of my squares are probably just going to be looking up I have found that I do have one or two that contain the word ‘up‘.

Yesterday was incredibly upbeat with the music, stirrups, cup o’kindness, uplifting thoughts and puppies! Thank you so much to everyone who joined me for day one. I can’t wait to see you and others today. Remember though in this challenge you can post whenever inspiration strikes as long as your photograph has 4 equal sides. You can also, as I have done today, connect with other great challenges such as Six Word Saturday. For others check out Cee’s fabulous and very comprehensive list of challenges in the blogging world, there are photography ones, musical and the written word.

Interesting puppets. I really know so little of actual puppeteering. Will need to do some research, but my first thought was it is harder than it looks, but fun, because you get to be an actor, but do not have to put your own body out there. My post has nothing to do with art or museums or acting though, in a way, it is the opposite.

I think puppeteers are amazing – creating live drama whilst not really being able to see what they are creating

That’s an interesting collection of puppets. Some of them look rather fearsome though. 🙂

Puppet on a string…..that was a book, years ago, Alistair McLean, I think. Anyways, I love your square today. Here’s mine, up, up and away in the avian world: https://suejudd.com/2021/01/02/up-up-and-away-looking-up-2/

There is something very fascinating about puppets: somehow more than the sum of their parts and capacities. That Sumo wrestler is quite a bruiser. The MacMoos from me today:

He certainly is, I wonder if he actually wrestles?!

We do have to grab a bit of fun where we can find it.
On WP is a good place to find it.

And here is mine for today: https://travelwithintent.com/2021/01/02/up-pompeii/
And your puppets have inspired my square from tomorrow – a slightly convoluted inspiration, but that’s the way my brain is behaving today 🙂

Interesting puppets (but you know that you’ve opened a cup (sic!) of worms with this interpretation of up, don’t you?). Mine should have really gone up yesterday considering the theme but as a photo I preferred my poles as the first square. So here is the second: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/01/02/bottoms-up/
