Part of me wants to say this is a Yellow Wagtail rather than Grey because it does look yellowish on the back, however the throat is white so think it must be a Grey. However having looked online at the variations I am going to admit I kinda don’t know 😅
Pretty little bird. Here’s mine: https://grahamsisland.com/2020/10/14/sonoran-carpenter-bee-2/

Off the top of my head I’m thinking a subspecies of Yellow Wagtail but I don’t have any reference books available using the WiFi hotspot in town.

Having checked a couple of reference books I’m thinking the Iberian peninsula race of Yellow Wagtail.

That makes sense – I do recall thinking there was too much yellow on the back to be a grey

Having looked at the two I think you are correct, it has the mask of a grey one. The yellow does not have those white markings.

Grey it is then 🙂

Weeeelll, now I have found one that has the grey band over the eye and white markings, that is described as a yellow one! I think a lot of people get confused! https://www.birdwatchingsagres.com/en/destaque/18/western-yellow-wagtail-hard-to-miss

No wonder we all get confused!!
David thinks it might be a sub species of the Yellow One.
