5. Chillies are so pretty. I grew a pepper plant in the greenhouse this year and I think I’ll add a chilli next year. I went on a country walk today https://lizannelloyd.wordpress.com/2020/10/13/kindasquare-13/

      1. Ah, I always put my chillies in the freezer, but chilli oil would be a good idea. I made basil oil a couple of years ago but my basil has been awful this year.

         1. phew not just me with the basil issues this year then! My neighbour made me some one Christmas, just fabulous and keeps for ages – the other idea is chilli sherry. Superb as a condiment for soups

20. Nice red ones. It is always a bit of a gamble knowing how hot they are. We just harvested our chillies yesterday as the weather forecast promised temperatures nearing 0 Celsius this week. The ones that were not really ripe we always put in a bag namned “mixed sweets”. 🙂

          2. They are safely stored in our freezer and the only one’s surprised will be the family at dinner. And we all enjoy spicy food.
