Those chilli bushes look interesting, can’t quite read the names though.

They certainly look hot! And what a cheery photo, Becky, with all that colour and sunshine, says Debbie gazing out at a grey cloudy sky. I’m back in your fair city today: https://travelwithintent.com/2020/10/13/kinda-seasonal/

I actually grow some little hot red rockets – not their name, but literally their effect when eaten 🙂

Chillies are so pretty. I grew a pepper plant in the greenhouse this year and I think I’ll add a chilli next year. I went on a country walk today https://lizannelloyd.wordpress.com/2020/10/13/kindasquare-13/

They are so easy to grow, so be prepared for a big crop!

I’m not a fan of eating chillies, but the plants are always so striking that I often think of buying one.

They’re easy to grow, and chilli oil makes great Christmas presents!!

Ah, I always put my chillies in the freezer, but chilli oil would be a good idea. I made basil oil a couple of years ago but my basil has been awful this year.

phew not just me with the basil issues this year then! My neighbour made me some one Christmas, just fabulous and keeps for ages – the other idea is chilli sherry. Superb as a condiment for soups

Ah chillies! I’m a bit of a chilli-head, so how kind of you to share. I’ve had endless trouble with my post today, and finally abandoned any thoughts of a Featured Photo. It said it was there … but it wasn’t. https://margaret21.com/2020/10/13/a-sunset-symphony/

Have you tried chillies personally? I love having it as a side for Filipino dishes.
Here is my kind of window. https://mywanderings.travel.blog/2020/10/13/windows-inside-the-notre-dame/

Haven’t tried these two – but have grown them myself in the past. Not quite brave enough to have them as a side dish though!

Nice red ones. It is always a bit of a gamble knowing how hot they are. We just harvested our chillies yesterday as the weather forecast promised temperatures nearing 0 Celsius this week. The ones that were not really ripe we always put in a bag namned “mixed sweets”. 🙂

I’m not sure it’s entirely kind to offer a bag of chillies as ‘mixed sweets’! 😉

They are safely stored in our freezer and the only one’s surprised will be the family at dinner. And we all enjoy spicy food.

do they get hotter in freezer?

Don’t think so. But it is still a surprice as it is hard to judge how strong they are. 😁
