Whilst it is a phrase I have used in conversation I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to find an image that is like something else. Then I remembered a sculpture at the University of Winchester that is kinda like one of the UK’s most famous historical sites. Recognise it?!

This copper sculpture appeared on the main campus in 2002, and it is of course a modern day version of one of the 13ft standing stones at Stonehenge. You can learn more about the artist and the sculpture on page 18 of the official guide to the art trail.
I’d love to have some of those in my yard! https://mrssheckysblog.com/2020/10/09/kind-of-cute/

This one is actually made out of copper, but I only realised after taking the shot. I was so sure it was stone!

It reminds me of the film (movie) Spinal Tap. Back to Nine Of A Kind for day 9:

I wonder if the intention was to do a whole circle of them but they ran out out time/money? 🙂

Don’t know . . there isn’t really the space on campus to create a complete henge, but they could have got a few more in. Intriguing
