We’re off to be as inquisitive as this wagtail today, unfortunately not in Portugal but it is somewhere rather lovely. I cannot say anything more in the post, but depending on our perspective today I may be able to share more soon. Watch this space!

The wagtail looks a lot like our Juncos — our winter birds. More square birds for YOU too 🙂

Hiya Becky, lovely bright view of the English countryside on a somewhat bleak winter’s day here. I did hope to be connecting more with July Squares, unfortunately life’s got a bit hectic!

and loving the sounds of yours before I have even visited, as the url is brilliant. Will be there shortly to enjoy visually, just catching up on 24hrs worth of comments. It was lovely being off line yesterday, but then there’s the catch up!

Gret shot, Becky. We have Willy Wagtails here in Australia. I will try to get a photo for you but that might be easier said than done.

Thank you for letting me know. We don’t have any kind of Wagtails here. I can’t wait to go birding overseas! 🙂

Always fabulous birding somewhere different isn’t it 🙂
This week my delight was seeing a wild white stork fly over the car. They are slowly being reintroduced to the UK, and this year the first pair nested in Sussex. Really wonderful . . . .in Portugal we see them all the time and I just love it

It is soooo exciting to bird in new spots. Picking up new species is always a great thing. So happy to here about the storks. 😊
