Why not join us for Squares. I am sharing a square daily, you can do the same or join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and your blog.
The theme is Perspective, which you can interpret anyway you want. Here are a few ideas though just in case you are not sure where to start;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
Love this square – where?

What a lovely place and I think we all would like to be there right now, sipping a nice cool drink of something – make mine a large glass of Savignon Blanc. I know it’s not Portuguese, but it is my favourite. And we can all have a good old natter.

I was sure this was not a square when I first looked at it. I should have known you better. At least I did not get the ruler out! It must have due to scrolling down to concentrate on those lovely tiles.
Your comment about strawberry water yesterday somehow prompted my choice for today:

I had the same thought! It’s the perspective of that building that does it! We should know not to doubt the Queen of Squares 🤣

The Queen had a little panic for a moment and got a ruler out!!!

Can’t beat a lovely square like this. It’s causing itchiness of feet – to be somewhere else! In the meantime another shot from my own essential resort – the allotment: https://tishfarrell.com/2020/07/22/zucchini-the-prequel/

What a lovely picture which has to be in Portugal. It reminds me of a quiet Saturday in Lagoa. I’ve been to visit a Griffin. https://somerville66.blogspot.com/2020/07/squareperspectives-photochallenge.html
