A couple of weeks ago on my Portuguese blog I shared the view from our Porto apartment. Today I thought I’d share another view of Porto. It is a city full of perspectives.

I am hoping by now everyone has realised this month’s challenge enables you to share pretty much anything. So if you haven’t yet joined in, who not give it a go. The only absolute rule for joining in is that your main photograph must be square in shape, but here are a few more hints just in case;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
Hi everyone, here is my entry for today

I love this city-scape, Becky – towers and rooftops. I’m still among the bees today: https://tishfarrell.com/2020/07/20/musk-mallow-monday-communing-with-bees/

Love this scene. Having spent a week in Lisbon for the previous two years, Porto was on our agenda for 2020. I know I’d love it. How fortunate you are to spend time there.

It can be in season, but on the day I took this in mid December wasn’t too bad 🙂

Becky, that is a very cool photo. A city of many things to see and do. And photograph! I would need a map to avoid getting lost, but it would be worth it!

Getting lost though is great for discovering things!

Well, that’s a good way to look at it. I have a terrible sense of direction, so as long as I can find my way back that works for me!

You can definitely achieve that in Porto as if you head downhill you will eventually end up at river!
