A couple of weeks ago on my Portuguese blog I shared the view from our Porto apartment. Today I thought I’d share another view of Porto. It is a city full of perspectives.

I am hoping by now everyone has realised this month’s challenge enables you to share pretty much anything. So if you haven’t yet joined in, who not give it a go. The only absolute rule for joining in is that your main photograph must be square in shape, but here are a few more hints just in case;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
There is a mural and some old walls I would love to capture. Such a delightful photo. 😀
Here is my entry for the day. Enjoy!

It’s a great city, very different to Hong Kong but just as fascinating

It’s very compact certainly, and in season far too many tourists. Out of season though quite lovely

Perfect city capture! Initially I was worried with the ‘Perspectives’ theme but now I’ve overcome my fear – Here’s mine – https://myheart2heart.blog/2020/07/20/caged-or-free/

A very intriguing city, it seems. I have a city perspective as well, of sorts: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/07/20/it-wasnt-the-tom-who-was-peeping/

I think this perspective has everything – churches, important building of some kind, houses, mural, street signs, phone poles… 🙂

A great view, Becky – so much history there, plus some modern additions (some more attractive than others)
I’ve gone very English today – https://travelwithintent.com/2020/07/20/rosy-view-of-anglesey-abbey/
