The original photograph was portrait which meant when I cropped to square I had a choice – focus on the lamp or the cobbles. I couldn’t decide. Fortunately though thanks to the new ‘image compare’ option I can ask all of you to decide for me! Look there’s even a poll.

    1. I thought the lamps was going tow in but lots seem to be going for cobbles, it is really interesting how everyone is responding.

  16. Oh, that is a hard one! I think I prefer the one with the cobbles visible. In the one with both lamps showing you get a large area of the sky without any structure in it. That part becomes less apparent with the other cropping.
