Why not join us for Squares. I am sharing a square daily, you can do the same or join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and your blog.
The theme is Perspective, and as everyone has a different perspective it means anything goes! I’m travelling back from Somerset today so will catch up with pingbacks and comments later. Whilst you await my return here are a few ideas and perspectives;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time

The only absolute rule for joining in is that your main photograph must be square in shape!

An old one recycled as it’s an unusual Perspective:

A lovely photo of a -to me unrecognisable – flower. And maybe my post contains unrecognisable things too – but with the answers this time. I excuse myself from having the same photos as yesterday by pointing out that at least there are twelve of them. https://margaret21.wordpress.com/2020/07/16/a-quiz-the-answers/ . Hope your visit went well.

Intriguing . . . . . . I will be there shortly to find out more. Just catching up first with all the lovely comments
and yes it is a Mediterranean favourite, although also seen across central Asia to China. It’s English name is Jerusalem Sage

I don’t remember seeing it in Spain or France. I’ll look out if I ever get there again.

I’ll find some shots of what it looks like in winter as that might jog your memory

It’s pretty but I have no idea what type of flower it is. 🙂

It’s gorgeous isn’t it. It is a phlomis, English name Jerusalem Sage. There are also pink versions which we see growing wild throughout the Algarve.

We do! We do! And Michael always tells me the name, which I promptly forget 🙂 🙂 Good visit, Becky?

PS I also forget its name every year. Hoping though now I know the English name it might stick in my head!
