
As we approached I assumed the inspiration was a ship, I can see a prow (bow) from here. Apparently however Kengo Kuma was inspired by Scottish sea cliffs. So here’s another view from the cliff edge.

I was inspired by the cliffs of northeastern Scotland – it’s as if the earth and water had a long conversation and finally created this stunning shape.

Scotland is my second choice of traveling abroad. These was really nice from the different points of view. So beautiful! 🙂
