Why not join us for Squares. I am sharing a square daily, you can do the same or join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and your blog.
The theme is perspectives, which hopefully will provide you with plenty of scope. As you can see I had geometry on my mind today as I observed how a lighthouse changes in size depending on where you are standing. If you don’t have a lighthouse near you, here are some other ideas to get you thinking;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
Be great if you could join us today as I am putting the finishing touches together on our first #SquarePerspectives gallery, the opening is planned for Saturday. If you have already scheduled a square then visit my Portuguese blog to find out more about this lighthouse.
Lighthouses offer so much possibilities – and you used them so well!

Great examples of perspective, Becky. And I always love a lighthouse. Maybe I’ll dig one out before the month ends.

Another obvious one from me although it ties in with a less obvious square planned for tomorrow:

It’s a grey damp wintery day here today, so this beautiful blue sky is very welcome. I need to schedule my next three posts after today, so I’ll be linking them all to this post of yours.

Great post, Becky! I wish I were there. Mind you, I wouldn’t mind going where I take you today either. Once the weather clears up, perhaps … https://margaret21.wordpress.com/2020/07/09/castle-howard-2/

Fabulous just watching the waves roll in, Becky 🙂 🙂 Still all at sea here, but we may be headed to Sagres this weekend for a few more waves.

Nice view, Becky. I particularly like the large photo with the trees.

So do I! Although probably very hot – this was on a December day so goodness knows what it is like now!
