Wow!
It just looks a lovely but normal floor in your header, but the detailed squares definitely tease the eyes. I love the square with the leg in it – a great composition, Becky.
I’ve gone with a more natural version of flooring: https://travelwithintent.com/2020/07/06/nature-patchwork/
I would love to spend more time in this room as the table and floor are incredible, but it is the penultimate room and so the guides are pushing us on to enter the final room. Next time I’m in Porto I must investigate if there are longer tours you can book.
I know! I spent such a long time with Happiness Engineers on Saturday, and with some of them it felt like I knew more than they did! Got there eventually with them
How absolutely fascinating, and testing to the eyes!! Mine is fascinating, but not too bad on the eyes! https://suejudd.com/2020/07/06/perspective-6-a-changing-perspective-on-time/

A floor like that could drive me crazy but I love the combination of the magnificent table leg 🙂 🙂 Less frenzied this week or still full throttle?

The table was even more amazing, none of my photos though worked. Think the camera was overwhelmed by this point!

Never answered your question did I! Some days, like today frenzied, but others looking very chilled and relaxed 🙂

Love the pattern and the way it can be seen in different perspectives. A trickster pattern 🙂

In quilt making, this pattern is called Baby Blocks. I love how it makes the eyes keep on moving.

I know, quite extraordinary – one moment all seems flat then the next there are cubes popping up everywhere

I am just adding your link to day6 again; the pingback seems to be suffering from geometric confusion!
