Sleep atop

It all depends on how hot it is as to whether or not Septimus sleeps on the bottom (header) or top (squares), it also depends if I am happy for him to be top cat!

Neither Septimus nor I can believe this is my penultimate #SquareTops. Where has the time gone? If you have not yet joined us there is still time, well a day, to discover your perfect top. Whether it’s;

  1. Top and Tail – play around with word combinations such as top secret, top full, and top line. Or may look for top within words such as topee, octoploid and dystopian. Hmmm I wonder why I thought of the latter!
  2. On Top of the World – summit, crown, peak or uppermost part of something
  3. Under the Big Top – topping or covering
  4. Room at the Top – first or highest in position
  5. Cherry on Top – something wonderful

Whatever your top, your main photograph must be square in shape and remember only four equal sides make a rectangle a square!

  8. He is gorgeous. I had a ginger tom called Sam. He was the most gentle and loving cat, and was so wonderful with all my other cats. He was a rescue and I had to resist taking a black cat that was also for rehoming. Septimus looks very laid back. 🙂

  14. I love Septimus! I want a ginger cat and his name will be Bilbo Baggins. We once had a ginger kitten who was called Hagar. Never spoke. But he always waited at the bottom of the drive for the children to come home from school. Great photos of your fur baby.

    1. He’s my first ginger – previous six have included two tabbies, three B&W and one long haired beauty! The latter was the most intelligent, whereas the current (no7) is just cute!

      I love the idea of Bilbo moving in with you 🙂

      1. I have had a few over the years, some fostered, some adopted and some that were born into the family, which is surprising as I was always a dog person!
