The Cathedral is closed at the moment, but as far as I am aware the inner close is still open. Not that I have been. The last time I was there the inner lawn was in its un-green state. Not very pretty, but the top soil makes a fabulous #SquareTop.

PS a shout out to the lovely Lisa, Sue, Alice, Elaine, Carol, Karen and Kathleen – I think the WP gremlins are preventing me from leaving comments on your posts. Well to be fair more that they are hiding me in spam. If you could rescue me I would be ever so grateful xx
Well, interesting use of words….here’s my mundane: https://suejudd.com/2020/04/12/top-cat-topsquares-12/

Glad you got out for a bit, but not surprised to hear it is quiet. It is a good thing although very weird

I bet it looks much prettier now. I’ve been there twice in summer and it’s always beautiful. You didn’t end up in my spam folder today Becky but I had to rescue Jude! How odd.

ooh Jude ended up in mind yesterday too. It is most odd. Glad I wasn’t there today 🙂 and if you are ever in Winchester again let me know.

Hi, Becky; I’d thought of topsoil as well, but would have to have dug up the garden 😂 so went with a different top: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2020/04/12/rag-top-square-tops-apr-12/
