Today I thought I’d try no 5

I thought today I’d have another look at our fifth idiom – top and tail. Remember this one is encouraging you to play around with word combinations such as top dog, top stitch, top full, top line, top fruit, top hat, top secret, top knot, top drawer and top dollar. You could even go for words that include the word top, there are surprisingly quite a few out there such as;

  • Utopia
  • Topple
  • Triceratops
  • Topiary
  • Stopwatch
  • Toponym
  • Doorstop
  • Topographical
  • Autopilot
  • Topee
  • Octopus
  • Topically

See the imagination can go even wilder! I can’t wait to collate the next gallery, in the meanwhile though just remember the main tag is #SquareTops and your post must have a square photograph!

  17. Good to know as i´m out of posts after today… 🙂 I think I may have to go out hunting for “tops”.
    Such a summery feeling in your photo, I would love some warmth know, but at least it is on the plus side during the days. 🙂

      We are enjoying a lovely warm spring here, which is lovely for those of us with gardens./ Just feel sorry for anyone in a flat without a balcony and all the restrictions. Makes it an even bigger challenge.

  18. You know I would love to get into the city while no one is around a get some pictures. But we are stuck in the house and Boston is pretty bad. So I’m enjoying your rooftop 🙂 I’m still flying the squirrels.
