Apparently bookworms do too! However it wasn’t the hat which led me to share this one today, it was the amazing cake topping. Isn’t it fabulous. Created by a friend of mine for MrB’s birthday a few years ago; just hoping there will be enough to go round with more than thirty of us already here for Squares!

    1. So do I! Unfortunately all gone now, but do have smell of freshly baked bread wafting up from kitchen so maybe we can have that instead 🙂

  1. What fun! I used to make interesting cakes for my children’s birthdays, fondant icing is so useful, but oh, so sweet! I can’t eat the stuff at all now. And I always used royal icing on a Christmas cake 🙂

Today I’m going to a place high up above a pretty lake https://wp.me/pL5Ms-5b1

      1. Yes, I really enjoyed our week there, walking around the lake and exploring the area. I don’t think I ever did a post just about the castle, so I might dig some photos out of the archive and do one. It was lovely up there.

    1. PS You are much better than me, never really got my head around fondant icing. More of a butter and royal myself.
