Tish has reminded me today of the art of waiting. An art that seems to be disappearing in our world of next day deliveries and instant communications. It is an art we should cherish as waiting is all about anticipation, something James Reeves captured perfectly in his poem Waiting. A poem that also brings back very happy childhood memories for me, as it was the first solo work I ever performed on stage! And the final line;
Was ever such waiting,
Such waiting before?’
– is a little bit how I feel about January squares. I can’t wait to start, but we’ve got forty three days to go.
So instead here’s my new squares logo with a promise the theme will be revealed in a fortnight. Above in my square a newt anticipating the January theme, in fact you could say it is a squares hint! I think you are going to like the next Squares even more than October’s lines & squares; some of you may even become as excited as the child in the poem! Whilst you are waiting for the squares party to begin, why not join the hosts of Lens-Artists – Amy, Tina, Patti and Ann-Christine – for their weekly photo challenges. This week’s theme is waiting.
Your logo is wonderful. How did you create it? I could make many guesses about the next theme, but they’d all probably be way off so I’ll wait for some more clues.

Thank you so much . . I created it using Canva. It is a great online graphic design tool. Lots of templates . . I have been using it a while now and so find it relatively easy to use, but it does take a little bit if getting your head around.

Great logo. I hope the next one is water related or something and not reptiles. 😁😁😁

definitely not reptiles, but as for what it is you’ll just have to wait a couple of weeks!
