It might be autumnal in the north hemisphere, but it is spring in the south. So I thought I’d share spring lines alongside my weekly reminder of this month’s squares theme.
Your lines can be long, short, straight or curvy. They might be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, perpendicular or even zig zag. You might prefer them intersecting, natural, singular or in stripes. Whatever your line everyone is welcome in square photographs!
Here’s how squares works:
- Create your line square post, and include a pingback to one of my daily square posts
- You can also add a link to your post in the comments on my post
- To make it easy for others to find you and to generate interest across the web do include this month’s tag lines&squares
- Many of us post daily but you can also post weekly, sporadically or even all 31 in one go at the end of the month.
Remember there is only the ONE challenge rule,
your main photograph must be square in shape!

Sounds like what we have had for the past 4 weeks, fortunately the blue skies have appeared for us today. Hope they come your way soon too!

A bitter and sweet post. All those lovely flowers that will soon be dead and swept away.

Mine today is a bit of an odd one. I am not sure if this was a mistake or if I actually was trying to capture something specific: https://wp.me/pL5Ms-4Lu
Anyway, plenty of lines!

It certainly is Spring here. Unfortunately, there is what feels like a continual strong wind. The blooms are getting blown in all directions!

I like it feels like spring, but not liking the strong winds! Hope your blooms survive

My blooms are on our balcony and protected by the westerly winds. Unlike the public gardens.
