    1. It was indeed . . . and yes kind of, although only just a month since she died so there are still the odd moments plus I am now in the middle of evaluating the festival!

  11. I love these bridges too. There’s often a good view of them as you fly into Edinburgh, which makes a great start to any trip there. Thanks for this lovely lowdown view, Becky.

    1. We were on the wrong side of the plane when we flew in, so was really happy when our friend took us down to the water’s edge

    We made a special extra trip for the railroad bridge when we visited Scotland a couple of years ago, just to admire the construction.

    1. The Forth Bridge is amazing isn’t it, think that one is my favourite. I just wish the road bridges were further apart so we could appreciate them more.
