Our winter escape is delayed this year, and both MrB and I are missing our Portuguese life which might explain why this is my third square from a walk in Portugal. I also thought Cee might like the leaves for her FOTD! More walks (& leaves) may follow, but in the meanwhile here’s a reminder about lines&squares.
Your lines can be long, short, straight or curvy. They might be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, perpendicular or even zig zag. You might prefer to have them intersecting, natural, singular or in stripes. Every line counts, and everyone is welcome in square photographs.
- First create your square post and include a pingback to one of my daily square posts
- You can also add a link to your post in the comments on my post
- To make it easy for others to find you and to generate interest across the web use this month’s tag lines&squares
- Preferably post daily but you can also post all your lines in one go at the end of the month, join us weekly or even pop in and out with your squares.
- The only rule you must follow is that your main photograph must be square in shape!
Just when you go green I turn to brown-ish: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/10/08/after-the-cutting-lines/

Drove along the front at Olháo on the way back from the airport yesterday evening. All is well. Our other friends are settled into Tavira Garden so a bit of breathing space between jaunts. 30C yesterday again but it’s cooler mornings. Off walking with the Striders along the Guadiana today and we’ll catch up with them later. They’re not early birds 🙂 🙂 Hope you’re taking life more gently?

Breathing space is good especially when it is that warm! Say hi to the Guadiana for us we miss her.
Still reeling a little bit from Lisa’s death and the funeral, but life is at a much slower pace which is good. Not even booked our flights let alone accommodation yet!

Fantastic lines, Becky, they seem t run so deep in those plump leaves. Such a contrast with our drier, crisper versions at the moment.
And my straight lines today couldn’t be a greater contrast: https://travelwithintent.com/2019/10/08/wiry-wall-paddington-station/

Lovely greenery. There is none of that left here in Sweden. The autumn is here with chilly mornings and glorious colours.

Not much left here either . . .this was taken in the spring when I first began to think about lines 🙂
