The lovely Nancy is encouraging us to share hands, and in particular the stories they tell. So yesterday I decided to change today’s lines&squares post to this one.

Scribes in the Undercroft

The hands belong to a Winchester Cathedral scribe, whom I visited in the Undercroft during the Heritage Open Days festival. I am intrigued by the lines they are writing. Are they sharing their story, an extract from someone else’s story or are they random lines?

    1. Thank you Cee 🙂 I am so glad I spotted Nancy’s challenge as otherwise this one would not have made it into lines!

    1. I think most of us are like that . . at least though we have the skills hidden in us somewhere. So many youngsters these days are not even being taught how to write 😦
