Carnival fun

As of tomorrow there is only a week left of squares, so maybe a good time to remind everyone of the rules. Actually as you all know there is only one rule if you want to part of the Square Gang and be sure your squares make into the gallery.

Your main photograph must be square!

If you have not joined in with Squares before then why not join us this month. The theme for July is ‘blue‘, and as always it is totally up to you how you interpret the square theme but here are my suggestions for how we might stay connected on our square adventures this month.

  1. Your photographic square could be a ‘Bolt from the Blue’ – something unexpected or surprising such as a headless woman on the parapet!
  2. Alternatively why not explore ‘Into the wide blue yonder‘ – sky, sea or maybe a location that is appealingly unknown and mysterious
  3. Or if you prefer keep it simple with ‘Blue‘ – whether that’s azure, cobalt, sapphire, cerulean, navy, ultramarine, indigo, or turquoise
  4. And if you’re feeling particularly adventurous try to combine two of these, or maybe even all three!

I will visit every pingback and try to reply to all comments within 12hours of you leaving them, occasionally it may take me longer as I am juggling a complicated life this month. However I promise to be get there as soon as I can; your blues are keeping me smiling.

    1. You’re spot on with your guess . . and it was the baskets they were in that I loved too! Not the most practical of things though to push along on a cobbled hilly street . . their handlers were struggling to stay in control!!
