Now this is a cloister I’d happily sit in for a few hours. It can be found inside Convento da Conceição in Beja, Alentejo, the convent that was the home of Mariana Alcoforado, the Portuguese nun who became famous for her love letters to Marquis de Chantilly.
PS if you haven’t already do go and wish the Birthday Boy a Happy Birthday!
So lovely!

Love blue and yellow together. And I do like a cloister. Must start to get some posts together from my Portugal trip even though it was years ago, there are lots of photos I never posted. Today mine has a sense of humour involved 🙂 https://wp.me/p79zFr-25y

Yes, I must start sorting out what I want to do – something a bit like my Paris theme.

and humour sounds fabulous, just what Jo needs today, as she had had a bit of a traumatic camera card moment 😦

Oh, no! A fair bit of trauma happening here too – had to take son back to hospital yesterday and he’s going to be in for a few days by the sounds of it 😦

Oh no Jude, that’s not good. Really hope they sort him quick, and he can recommence his recovery at home. My sister-in-law is still in hospital after 6weeks!

Oh, goodness, that is a long time. Visiting hospital is so wearying too. Is she nearby?

Off to see her today 🙂 It’s just over an hour away, we tend to go weekly as she tires easily plus her daughter has flown over to join her so is there daily.

I hope she improves soon. Even visiting someone in hospital is tiring. Off to see my lad this afternoon.
