We saw butterflies today, no beautiful dragonflies. Safely they all flitted too fast for pictures, and they were brown anyway … Here’s number one. I’m late – and all I can muster are vapour trails. http://chittlechattle.com/2019/07/14/simplysnaps-simply-blue-16/
This is the one I mentioned that day you shared the fabulous butterfly. I took so many photographs of it. Its mate though was even more difficult to photograph as she was busy laying eggs and darted about so fast!
so do I . . .there were lots of smaller ones too when I photographed this, but I failed to get a good shot of them or the even bigger one that turned up the following day. They fly so fast!
Great photo of an insect that is notoriously difficult to photograph. A Broad-bodied Chaser I believe!
Lovely blue Sunday Becky.
Mine is more ordinary today: https://wp.me/p79zFr-25d

Dragonflies always flit, hover you focus and they flit. Quite difficult
