Hello Becky,
I love this picture, very well done! 👌🏻 And I can relate how uneasy it is to take a photo of this kind of model. 🙀
Here’s mine, https://passionatelybored.wordpress.com/2019/07/14/july-blues-14/
from last year’s sightseeing, just a few kilometers away from where I live.
Hi Marilyn, no pingbacks are working but I need to approve them first so sometimes there will be up to a 12hr delay before they appear. Just depends on what I am juggling . . today I’ve been pretty quick with just an hours delay 😀
Beautiful! The dead flowers add a special element to the story here, and it works well as a square. And you’ve used the light perfectly.
I’m sitting with a cup of tea looking at a grey wet day outside, but remembering some hot days in Valencia: https://travelwithintent.com/2019/07/14/cheers/
Ha! Oh yes, I know. I stand there in similar situations with a fast shutter speed and just depress the button half way so that I get a burst, and hope one of them comes out! Sometimes I stop if the moving target goes behind a flower and I just wait. Then when he emerges, I go back to a burst. I sometimes *still* don’t capture the image.

So you have your own flower today! Beautiful shot, all around. For the moment, this is my last blue flower (there might be some more towards the end of the month, I don’t know yet) : https://picturesimperfect2.wordpress.com/2019/07/14/forget-me-forget-me-not/
