Congratulations to those who shared 31 (or more) and a huge thank you to everyone who took part. You are all amazing, and your photographs have been so inspiring this month. I thought this morning I would take us back to one of my spiky prequels and share a close up of the White Stork we spied in the distance.
This evening I will be back with my final gallery, but then in April I will mostly be wordless and scheduled. May has yet to be decided (I mean the month not the Prime Minister!) and in June we will return with the next set of squares.
Thanks so much for hosting this fun challenge, Becky! I’ve enjoyed seeing everyone’s spiky photos, and finding those of my own. So much hard work done by all, and I appreciate how it all came together for a great success! 🙂
The stork is so pretty!
Here’s my final entry:

Oh Becky I really like your photo today. Good one to end this fun month.
I had birds on my mind today too.

A great final spiky one, Becky!
Needless to say, I spotted loads of spikes as the month came to an end.
Enjoy your less wordy month of May – and I await June with excitement (no pressure intended!!)
And I got my link wrong – so here’s my post (though I know you already spotted it) :)https://travelwithintent.com/2019/03/31/spring-embellishment/

Well done Becky, another fabulous square month. I must confess that when you announced spikes as the theme I figured I wouldn’t be participating very much, until I hot on the idea of spiky plants. So thank you for enabling me to post some of the wonderful floral spikes and jaggedy edgys and bristles that exist in the natural world. I cannot begin to imagine what you have in store for us in June (and I hope it isn’t as busy a month for you as last year proved) but I am sure whatever you come up with will be unusual.
BTW I read recently that Winchester is the best place to live in the UK. Are you sure you want to move?

Hee hee, definitely want to move now!!!
And yes I think spikes was bit daunting, but everyone who took part seemed to find it easier as we went along. I think though I might do something a little easier if still unusual for June. I am though so glad you found it a great way to share all of your amazing flora and fauna 😀
