Cattle Egret on the wall

I can see spiky, jagged, pointy, and bristly. Four out of eight, not bad for a Friday. Can you add serrated, prickly, spiny, and barbed?

  1. I can’t decide if the bird is concentrating on its prey or if it’s wearing a classic “Oh, heck!” look, hoping the photographer does not see it as prey. Good and spiky though, whatever the look!

    1. hee hee! Definitely prey as I was way above him . . . he then proceeded to walk all the way round the wall looking for his breakfast. Not sure he succeeded!

    1. They always make me smile these birds as often spotted on the backs of horses and cattle, so I guess I don’t see their meanness. I know grasshoppers would certainly agree with you though!
