You might need to use your imagination for this one to work out why I have included it in this month’s spiky challenge as it wasn’t the beaks, talons or whatever they are managing to balance on!

Um… I can see some spikes, but whether any of them is the spike you are meaning…the perch spike, perhaps? Then again, I confess I could see a spike in a cotton wool ball by now!

I know my eyes are going spiky too!! I was thinking more jagged with this one as in the bricks.

Well spotted 🙂 it terrifies us, there’s another chimney a few yards away that is even worse. Goodness knows what Fred Dibnah would have had to say about them!!!

Cute falcons and the serrated patterns of the chimney as background makes me wonder if it going to fall inwards or outwards. Guessing the metal band is there to hold it in place.

It’s such a shame they have not looked after some of the old chimneys, there’s another not far away which tilts and is beside the railway!!
