Ok I’ll admit it the nave wasn’t very pink yesterday, but today will more than make up for it with a moment of pastel pinks and artistic contemplation.
Pretty display and fits in perfectly to #InthePink and Cee”s fun foto challenge this week. However like its neighbour it confused Mum and I! How exactly does they fit into the Winchester Cathedral flower festival theme?

All this must have been done by someone more interested in design than flowers. I’m not one for formal floral displays and this leaves me rather cold I’m afraid. I concede that it must have taken a lot of hard work to create, but it comes across (to me) as more of a statement as to “how clever I am” rather than how beautiful these flowers are. Oh, well.

You’re right: it’s pretty (and pink) but I’m not sure if it says anything except: yes, pretty flowers prettily arranged.
