With only days to go until October I thought it might be sensible to experience less pink So here’s a ‘tickled pink’ memory with only a hint of pink.

It was wonderful watching the swallows, house martins and swifts in this stunning and perfect setting. I cannot wait to return here next month.

And yes I know the birds are already heading further south so will not be there to welcome us but I’m still very excited about our return to our beloved Algarve!

  17. I can understand why you need Portugal given how frantic your life is when you are back in Winchester! Do you hire a car when you are over there, or use public transport? Just wondering how easy it is to get around without a car.

    1. The first time we went we didn’t have a car, and for 10 days have such fun using the trains and ferries. The buses are apparently good too, but we haven’t tried. So you can definitely enjoy a week without a car 🙂
      if you do hire though and come out of season it is so very cheap.
