This cute cow is one of many that Mum, Dad and I would have passed on their lovely circular walk from their Somerset home. Mum has never been that keen on walking through a field of cows, and neither was Dad in his latter years living with dementia. So it was usually me who created a fence between them. Just look at this pink nose. I am sure she would have moo”d a very Happy Birthday to you Dad! We miss you.
Whilst I’m remembering my amazing Dad, why don’t you take a moment to remind yourselves of the challenge, and perhaps even invite someone who has not yet taken part to join in. There is still time to join in. The theme for squares this month has been ‘In the Pink‘ and the one rule as always is that your main photograph must be square.
- ‘In the Pink’ – means perfect condition or in good health, so that could be human or not!
- ‘Tickled Pink‘ – means delighted, so I’m thinking happy, fun and of course delighted. That could be you or the subject of your photograph.
- Pink – you can of course simply share anything that is coloured pink
- There is an extra challenge for those of you up for it – can you manage to combine two of these, or maybe even all three?
If you have only just joined us then don’t worry about the daily commitment, you can always post just once between now and the 30th September. Perhaps with a post of 30 pink squares! Whatever you do though don’t forget to keep your photo square, and to pingback here with #InthePink!
So cool! Love this…

This cow is definitely ‘in the pink’ as she looks very healthy with her pink nose.

From the look in that (slightly pink) eye, your Dad might have been wise to be wary. Happy birthday to your dear Dad and, at the same time, I’ll raise my coffee cup to my own, long departed Dad. He loved all animals. My post is here:
